About the Role

Barker Associates, a leading property consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Technician to join our team. As a Senior Civil Technician, you will play a key role in delivering innovative civil engineering solutions for a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients to achieve long-term goals.
  • Deputising Duties: Deputise for the Line Manager when absent, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Civil Engineering Schemes: Provide preliminary civil engineering schemes for review by the Line Manager.
  • Technical Design: Produce detailed technical designs using AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Hydraulic Modelling.
  • Technical Submissions: Review and submit technical submissions and RFIs from sub-contractors.
  • Documentation and Drawings: Organise and submit technical documentation and drawings for final delivery.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A relevant degree or apprenticeship and a minimum of 5 years of working experience.
  • Professional Development: Progression to undertake corporate membership towards the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
