About the Role

Barker Associates, a leading property consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Technician to join our team. As a key member of our civil engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong business relationships with clients to achieve long-term goals.
  • Technical Design: Prepare calculations and technical design information to deliver innovative civil engineering solutions for new-build and regeneration projects.
  • Project Coordination: Organize and submit technical documentation and drawings for final delivery.
  • Team Support: Deputise duties of Line Manager when absent and provide preliminary civil engineering schemes for review.
  • Quality Assurance: Review more detailed technical submissions and RFIs from sub-contractors.
Requirements
  • A relevant degree or apprenticeship and minimum of 5 years working experience.
  • Progression to undertake corporate membership towards ICE.
