Join Our Team - Safety and Compliance Manager

Acorn by Synergie is currently in search of a Safety and Compliance Manager to become part of our client, a prominent player in the chemical manufacturing sector.

In the role of Safety and Compliance Manager, you will report directly to the Factory Manager and be instrumental in fostering health and safety practices within the organization. Your duties will encompass ensuring adherence to health and safety legislation, formulating safety protocols, and performing risk evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all health and safety regulatory affairs
  • Develop and refine the Health & Safety Management System
  • Execute workplace risk evaluations
  • Lead investigations into incidents
  • Conduct audits as necessary
  • Compile safety performance reports

Additionally, you will extend support to the Environmental Manager and work collaboratively on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management systems and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in a Safety and Compliance Manager position within the chemical manufacturing industry. A NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety is mandatory, with a Bachelor's Degree being advantageous. Familiarity with health and safety regulations, ISO standards, and internal auditing practices is essential.
