We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Patient Care Assistant to become a vital member of our Integrated Sexual Health team.

The ideal candidate will possess a caring and open-minded approach, showcasing exceptional interpersonal abilities. A solid understanding of the intricacies surrounding sexual health and the confidentiality standards upheld by our service is essential.

Our service operates with flexibility, including various clinics in the surrounding regions. The selected individual will be expected to work on a scheduled basis, aligning with the operational hours of the service, which typically runs from early morning until late evening.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the sexual health team, playing a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients seeking guidance, screening, and treatment in areas such as contraception and sexual health.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the sexual health team while also working independently when necessary.
  • Performing essential tasks such as Phlebotomy, measuring Blood Pressure, Weight, Height, and Body Mass Index, conducting pregnancy tests, and collecting Mid Stream Urine samples for analysis.
  • Providing demonstrations on condom usage, offering support as a chaperone, and preparing for clinical sessions within the sexual health framework.
