About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Telford Hall Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and hygiene support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with meal times, including serving and feeding residents.
  • Support residents with daily activities, such as exercise, hobbies, and social events.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, including listening to their concerns and validating their feelings.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and health and safety protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure residents' needs are met and their care plans are implemented.

Requirements:

  • Positive outlook and warm personality.
  • Ability to demonstrate a genuine interest in working in the health and social care sector.
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns according to the needs of our residents.
