Your Role as a Senior Care Assistant

As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive compassionate and personalized care. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing personal care and hygiene assistance
  • Supporting residents with eating and engaging in daily activities
  • Offering emotional support and companionship
  • Helping residents live enriched lives focused on their individual hobbies, preferences, and abilities
  • Maintaining high standards within the care home environment
  • Performing senior-level duties to support the Home Manager, such as staff supervision, appraisals, record-keeping, liaising with external professionals, and interviewing candidates.

What We're Looking For

We seek a compassionate and experienced individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Supervisory or leadership experience in a residential or nursing home setting
  • A positive outlook and warm personality
  • Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care
  • Confidence in record-keeping and the use of various technologies
  • The ability to remain calm and guide colleagues under pressure
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns according to the needs of our residents
