We are seeking a highly experienced Data Cabling Engineer to join our team at Atkinson Moss. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality data cabling solutions to our clients across the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Support site surveys to ensure accurate project planning and execution.
- Install, move, and change data cables to meet client requirements.
- Troubleshoot data and voice cable issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal network performance.
- Terminate and test cables to ensure high-quality connections.
- Install and configure WIFI, telephone, and internet systems.
- Install trunking, data cabinets, and patch panels to support efficient network infrastructure.
- Configure switches, routers, WIFI access points, and controllers to ensure seamless network connectivity.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a commercial cabling engineer role.
- Data cabling certification.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
