Bank Nurse Opportunity at Homefield House

Shaw healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse to provide high-quality care to our elderly service users with conditions such as Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson's or other clinical diagnoses.

Homefield House is a specialist care centre providing long and short stay dementia nursing care for the elderly. Our state-of-the-art care technology enables our Nurses to spend more time with service users, providing tailored care and support.

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Care Home Nurse to provide nursing care, including wound care and palliative care, to ensure the best possible outcomes.

  • Assessing patients' health and care needs, developing care plans to meet individual requirements
  • Administering medication and monitoring service users' responses to treatment
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals to coordinate personalised care and support
  • Working within the Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines to ensure high standards of care and compliance
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to drive excellence in care
  • Participating in the induction and ongoing training of new staff members to ensure a cohesive and skilled team

Requirements:

  • NMC registered nurse with a passion for elderly care
  • Experience working in elderly care, including caring for patients with Alzheimer's and other dementia-related conditions
  • Knowledge of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and standards
  • Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices

Working Hours: Bank shifts, as and when required - shift times are flexible to meet the needs of our service users
