Lead Coffee Specialist

In the role of Lead Coffee Specialist at WatchHouse, you will play a vital part in upholding the excellence of the beverages offered, ensuring uniformity even when you are not present. Your responsibilities will include mentoring and supervising Baristas, inspiring and educating the team, managing equipment and machinery, delivering outstanding customer service to enhance our clientele, and fostering the WatchHouse ethos.

Lead Coffee Specialists at WatchHouse carry significant responsibility and accountability within their establishment. They are integral members of the management team, facilitating smooth operations and effective communication among team members.

Reporting to: House Manager, in collaboration with the Head of Coffee and Coffee Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide team development and performance evaluation
  • Participate in meetings with senior coffee leadership
  • Oversee daily bar operations
  • Ensure quality assurance of all beverages
  • Train and mentor baristas
  • Manage inventory and stock
  • Work with management for operational efficiency

Detailed Role:

Lead Coffee Specialists supervise the bar area, ensuring compliance with quality standards and leading the team to deliver exceptional beverages efficiently. They also collaborate with management to improve quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Beyond bar responsibilities, Lead Coffee Specialists engage with customers, manage stock, maintain equipment, and adhere to safety protocols. They set a positive example, nurture talent, and uphold the values of the company.
