Compensation: Up to £40,000 full-time equivalent

Role Overview
We are excited to present an opportunity for a Senior Speech and Language Practitioner to become a vital member of our Clinical Wellbeing team. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues to create tailored assessment and intervention strategies for our students. This position is ideal for those looking to contribute to the expansion of our clinical services, making a significant impact through a comprehensive, therapeutic approach.

Your responsibilities will include managing a Speech and Language therapy caseload alongside fellow practitioners at our educational facility in the East Midlands. With the backing of our experienced Clinical Team, you will also play a key role in staff training, consultation, and reflective practice. This position is both challenging and fulfilling, suited for a resilient and passionate individual who possesses a therapeutic mindset and the capability to make informed decisions while managing their workload effectively.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Registration with HCPC and RCSLT.
  • At least 3 years of experience in special educational needs (SEN) settings or similar caseloads as a Speech and Language Practitioner.
  • Proven experience in managing complex caseloads.
  • Proficient in clear and concise report writing related to clinical and research activities.
  • Valid UK driving license with access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to work autonomously under agreed supervision.
  • Experience collaborating within multi-professional teams or services in the designated specialty.
