Social Services Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Worker to join our Adoption Team as a key member of our Children, Education and Justice Services department.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, assess, and support prospective adopters to provide a stable and loving environment for children in need.
- Provide adoption advice and family finding services to children and prospective adopters, ensuring the best possible outcomes for all parties involved.
- Deliver bespoke adoption support to families, including group work and training, to promote the well-being and stability of adoptive families.
- Carry a caseload of complex cases, requiring strong assessment, planning, and delivery skills to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.
- Good understanding of need and risk, with the ability to assess, plan, and deliver a service that meets the needs of children and families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a hybrid from home and office base, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- SSSC registration and a social work qualification are essential for this role.
- A competitive salary of £36,000 - £42,000 per year.
