An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join our team as a Social Worker. This is a permanent, full-time position of 37 hours per week based at Nairn Town & County Hospital.

About the Role

The post is interesting and varied in nature, providing a generic Adult Social Work service across the Nairn area. The team is busy but supportive, and we are looking for a qualified individual who can work autonomously but also effectively as part of a social work team and wider integrated team to deliver safe and effective social work practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execution of essential statutory functions
  • Working with individuals, families, carers, and wider communities to complete person-centred outcome-focused assessments
  • Dealing with and managing complex situations and risk
  • Working effectively in a multi-disciplinary way
Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner who has experience of working with people with a wide range of needs and who is person-centred and outcome-focused in their approach. It would be preferable if candidates had a good working knowledge of Adult Support and Protection.
