Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our Highland Children's Social Work Services team. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting families and children in need, promoting their well-being and safety, and working towards a positive outcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide social work services to children and families, including assessment, planning, and intervention.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, including healthcare providers, education staff, and community organizations, to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting families.
- Develop and maintain relationships with children, young people, and their families, building trust and confidence.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to prevent child abuse and neglect.
- Participate in reflective supervision and ongoing professional development to enhance practice and stay up-to-date with best practices.

Requirements:
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council on the 'Social Worker' part of the Register.
- Qualification recognized by the SSSC as being equivalent to the Diploma in Social Work (DipSW).
- Ability to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland.
