The role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of our offices in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside visionary minds in the automotive field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Extract vehicle BoM data for GMT projects from 3DX and send it to Smartsheet for project ETRS reports and status.
  • Follow the Engineering Release Process and checklist before releasing parts in 3DX.
  • Check release points and liaise with engineers for modifications before approving parts in 3DX.
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Feed release data to MBoM, ERP system, Smartsheet, Mass, and Cost tracker on a regular basis.
  • Monitor CAD release from start to end.
  • Liaise with 3DX, Smartsheet, and function groups to keep processes and systems updated.
  • Support PLM and ERP system development and implementation.
  • Monitor system efficiency and propose changes for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Display evident engineering coordination experience in the automotive industry.
  • Solid understanding of design standards, release standards, and engineering drawing standards.
  • Good working knowledge of whole vehicle structuring is essential.
  • PLM experience is a must.
  • Knowledge of 3D Experience (PLM) system.
  • Proven success in applying processes in automotive or other applicable industries.
  • Experience of coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Relevant experience in BoM Management and release process management.
