Job Summary
Marriott International is seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the four-star Delta Hotels by Marriott Preston. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of food and beverage staff to deliver high-quality service and ensure a positive guest experience.
- Inspect work areas and staff uniforms to maintain a clean and professional environment.
- Assist in coaching, hiring, and developing team members to improve their skills and performance.
- Prepare and monitor the restaurant breakfast service areas to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
- Provide a warm welcome to guests, advise them of menu options, and answer questions about products and services.
- Record all transactions in the MICROS till system at the time of order.
- Provide food and beverage service, including alcohol and non-vegetarian items.
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, recook orders, and product availability.
- Complete closing duties, including cash handling and banking.
- Report any maintenance or security issues to supervisors.
- Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge.

Working Hours
This role requires working 40 hours per week over 5 days, including weekends, with a variety of early and late shifts.
