About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at our Hackney-based school. As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with an experienced teacher to support students in Key Stage 1, focusing on those who are English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored interventions to support EAL learners in catching up with their peers
  • Help students with language barriers to build their confidence in the classroom
  • Work one-on-one with students to support their learning and development

Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a TA is preferred, but not essential
  • Experience or a strong interest in working with EAL students is highly desirable
