We are seeking an experienced and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a year 5 pupil with SEN in a fantastic primary school based in Hackney.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized support to the pupil, monitoring their behavior, and assisting with classwork set out by the teacher.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 support to the pupil throughout the school day
- Monitor and manage the pupil's behavior
- Assist the teacher with classwork and monitoring progress
- Support the class teacher with the daily running of the class
- Experience working with primary school pupils on a 1:1 basis
- Experience working with KS1 or KS2 pupils
- Hold either a degree or a teaching assistant qualification
- Experience working with pupils with challenging behavior
- Background in care
- Hold a valid up to date clean DBS check on the update service
- UK address and right to work
- Level 3 TA qualifications
