Creative Support is a leading national not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and support services. We are currently seeking a Supported Living Manager to lead one of our supported living initiatives. This program caters to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or challenging behaviors, ensuring they experience fulfilling and meaningful lives within a vibrant community setting.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, dedicated, and fully committed to delivering high-quality support that empowers individuals to lead enriching lives. As the Supported Living Manager, you will embody and promote the vision and objectives of the service, ensuring that all anticipated outcomes are met. You will set an example of best practices for your team and confidently manage their performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Registered Service Manager in maintaining compliance with regulatory and commissioner standards as specified in the service contract.
  • Collaborating with the Registered Service Manager to conduct assessments, facilitate transitions, and work with individuals and their support networks to co-create and implement personalized support plans.
  • Engaging extensively with service users, their families, friends, and relevant professionals to deliver a service that maximizes client outcomes.
  • Overseeing the performance of approximately 10 staff members through effective supervision, coaching, and training.
  • Leading the recruitment and selection process for staff who align with the needs of service users.
  • Conducting dynamic risk assessments and implementing positive risk management strategies to foster reflective practices and promote a culture of learning.
  • Participating in the service rota to provide dignified personal care, which may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Delivering excellent customer service to all stakeholders, actively seeking feedback, and addressing any concerns promptly.

A valid driving license is desirable to assist service users with mobility in the community.
