We are seeking a skilled Shift Engineer/ Handy Person to join our team at Hilton Hotels. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-the-house areas.
  • Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment.
  • Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work, and masonry.
  • Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
  • Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.

About the Role:

A Shift Engineer/ Handy Person is responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
