Lead Fundraising and Communications at Day One Trauma

Day One Trauma, a pioneering charity dedicated to supporting individuals affected by catastrophic injury, seeks an exceptional Fundraising and Communications Director to drive growth and impact.

About the Role

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy, leveraging the charity's unique position and opportunities to secure significant gifts and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a fundraising strategy aligned with the charity's ambitious goals, focusing on income growth and sustainability.
  • Lead the Fundraising and Communications team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective collaboration and delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and influencers, to drive fundraising efforts and promote the charity's mission.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to inform and shape the charity's overall strategy, ensuring alignment with fundraising and communications objectives.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • A strong track record of securing significant gifts and partnerships, with a deep understanding of fundraising strategies and tactics.
  • Proven experience in senior fundraising leadership, with a focus on team management and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • A strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, able to analyze data and make informed decisions.
