Tempus Novo has garnered international recognition, and the organization is poised for expansion throughout the UK.Effective fundraising is crucial to these growth initiatives, and the Fundraising Manager will play a pivotal role in diversifying voluntary income to turn these plans into reality.
Job PurposeThe Fundraising Manager will spearhead the fundraising strategy and be the catalyst for maximizing income for Tempus Novo.
This position is ideally suited for a relationship-focused fundraiser who will identify, cultivate, and secure support for Tempus Novo from both businesses and philanthropists.
The charity has a proven history of successfully obtaining grants from trusts and foundations, and the Fundraising Manager will be essential in broadening income streams to enhance the organization’s resilience.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Lead the development and execution of the fundraising strategy.
- Actively cultivate and oversee the fundraising pipeline, advancing prospects through the solicitation cycle.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create compelling fundraising documents and presentations.
- Expand the Tempus Novo business network to optimize relationships and leverage new contacts.
- Monitor income against budget closely to manage financial risk.
- Achieve annual income targets.
- Oversee freelance fundraisers as necessary.
- Provide regular updates to the CEO and Managing Director, along with fundraising reports for Board of Trustee meetings.
- Adhere to fundraising best practices and stay informed about relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated success in developing, securing, and maintaining relationships that yield fundraising results.
- Experience in account management or relationship management.
- Background in corporate giving and/or major giving.
- Experience working within a collaborative team environment.
- Proven track record of initiative and creativity in achieving desired outcomes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Personable and self-assured.
- A strategic thinker with a strong business sense.
- Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and partners to maximize results.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Highly organized and capable of managing a diverse workload.
