Position Overview:
Team Jobs - Strategic Accounts is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in the aerospace sector.


Our client is a prominent player in the avionics, engines, and systems domain, catering to aircraft manufacturers and airlines, including military and space operations.


Role Responsibilities:
The Manufacturing Engineer will oversee all facets of manufacturing engineering across various business areas.

Working Hours:
37 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Compensation: £24.27 per hour

Key Duties:
  • Formulate and execute strategies aimed at enhancing product and process quality.
  • Assist in the development and launch of new products in accordance with the Company’s IPDS 2.0 framework.
  • Facilitate the creation and delivery of prototypes for process or design validation.
  • Address and rectify any defect issues promptly.
  • Lead and coordinate manufacturing activities in collaboration with Product Engineers, Operations, and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Plan, implement, and oversee site-level improvement initiatives to boost productivity, including machining program wiring and fixture design.
  • Enhance communication with customers and suppliers to elevate product quality and delivery standards.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Technical authority on products and processes within designated areas.
  • Demonstrated experience in engineering applications, whether mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing.
  • Prior involvement in continuous improvement initiatives is advantageous.
  • Experience with PFMEA is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
This role is contingent upon fulfilling the eligibility criteria for export control licenses and technical assistance agreements.

Mandatory Requirements:
Completion of Full BPSS Screening, including verification of Legal Right to Work, Criminal Records Check, and Drug Screening.
