Aerospace Equipment Technician

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Bench Operative to join our team at Holt Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for working within an empowered team environment to meet delivery requirements and reporting directly to the Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities- Producing high-quality products to engineering drawings and instructions
- Drilling, tapping, and de-burring of aerospace equipment using hand tools and drill/tapping banks
- Operator Control of Quality (OCQ) to ensure work meets required standards
- Achieving on-time delivery by completing work efficiently and effectively
- Interpreting engineering drawings, following process layouts, and adhering to documentation procedures
- Strong engineering background with knowledge of drilling, tapping, and de-burring operations
- Experience with hand measuring equipment, such as Vernier, Micrometer, Thread, and Plug Gauges
- High standard of health and safety awareness
- Ability to work in a customer-focused environment and achieve targets
- Understanding of aerospace practice and the significance of safety-critical work
- PC literacy and ability to read and follow instructions
- Essential skills in teamwork, flexibility, and initiative
- Continuous improvement mindset
