About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work with our students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have ASD, providing personalized 1-on-1 support and occasional small group sessions. Your role will be key in helping our students thrive in a well-equipped and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1-on-1 support to students with ASD.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers to support individualized learning plans.
  • Participate in a trial day to showcase your skills and fit within our team.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience working with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is preferred.
  • Qualifications: A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Childcare is desirable but not essential.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Clearances: An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required, along with the right to work in the UK.
