With modern facilities, a focus on inclusivity, and a commitment to the personal growth of every child, we take pride in fostering a supportive atmosphere for both students and staff. You’ll be joining a friendly, tight-knit team that is dedicated to creating an engaging and fulfilling learning experience for children with a range of needs, especially those with ASD.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children with SEN, specifically ASD, is highly desirable.
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A relevant teaching assistant qualification is an advantage but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing 1:1 and group support for children with ASD.
• Assisting with personal care and emotional support where necessary.
• Supporting children in their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Working closely with the classroom teacher to adapt lessons and activities for individual needs.
• Helping maintain a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
Perks and Benefits:
• Competitive daily rate of pay.
• Ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Supportive leadership team and welcoming school environment.
• Opportunities to develop your career within SEN education.
• A part-time schedule that allows for work-life balance.
