Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at ClassRoom Support.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have recent experience working in schools and a strong understanding of supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to pupils with SEN, including one-on-one assistance and small group activities.
  • Help create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff, fostering a sense of belonging and teamwork.
  • Assist with behaviour management and social skills development.
  • Contribute to the overall well-being and personal development of pupils with SEN.
Requirements
  • A current enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
  • Recent experience working in schools, particularly with primary-age pupils.
  • Strong understanding of Special Educational Needs, including Autism and ADHD.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with pupils and staff.
  • Compassionate and patient nature, with a positive and hardworking attitude.
  • Proven ability to adapt support strategies to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEN.
Working Hours and Pay
  • Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 3:30pm (Monday-Friday)
  • £85-95 per day
  • Weekly pay (£(Apply online only) per week)
  • Temporary to Permanent – permanent contract available after you have completed 12 academic weeks
