Position Overview:

As a Technology Business Liaison at Aviva, you will serve as a key Technology Partner and trusted consultant, tasked with delivering comprehensive technology solutions while supporting the leadership of IT Business Partnering within our General Insurance division. Your primary responsibilities will include working closely with internal stakeholders and the Chief Information Officer to shape technology objectives that align with Aviva UKGI's strategic vision. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Championing your business unit within the CIO framework, ensuring alignment with strategic ambitions
  • Collaborating with the CIO and external technology experts to investigate innovative solutions that align with strategic roadmaps
  • Formulating a dynamic 3-year IT Strategy in conjunction with the General Insurance Business
  • Creating a unified risk management approach across various platforms and applications
  • Promoting proactive service management, simplifying technology processes, and optimizing costs
  • Representing the business in IT Service & Change discussions and significant meetings
