Job Opportunity: 1:1 Tutor for Maths and English

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate 1:1 tutor to support students with special educational needs, SEMH, Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, and Lower Learning Levels.

As a 1:1 tutor with Teaching Personnel, you will have the opportunity to work with primary or secondary children who may have SEN/SEMH needs or be looked after (LAC).

About the Role
  • Provide educational sessions face-to-face with children at their homes or a public space
  • Plan resources around the child's needs, developing their knowledge in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science
Key Responsibilities
  • Work with children to identify and address learning gaps and areas of need
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to support student progress
  • Collaborate with parents and carers to ensure consistent support and communication
Requirements
  • Hold QTS or be a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or SEN/SEMH experience
  • Be highly engaging and able to build effective working relationships with children
  • Manage and implement a range of behaviour strategies
