Job Description

Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Job Type: Temporary

Location: West Northamptonshire area

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a excellent secondary school. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the needs of students with learning difficulties or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Work alongside teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents
  • Provide pastoral care and emotional support to students as required
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and preparing resources

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Organized, reliable, and flexible with a can-do attitude
