About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an Academic Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering Maths, English, and Science tuition to students on a 1:1 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and provide individualized programmes to meet the needs of students with varying SEN requirements, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, challenging behavior, and trauma.
  • Work in various locations across the region, providing flexible and adaptable support to students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to students and their families.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new programmes and initiatives to enhance student outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Hold a QTS/PGCE certificate or have at least two years of previous teaching experience.
  • Exhibit endless enthusiasm and patience when working with students.
  • Have experience working with primary or secondary pupils.
  • Be able to engage with students quickly and accelerate their progression.
