Maintenance Specialist

Maintenance Specialist required for a leading F1 team in Silverstone. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment in a dynamic and high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on advanced systems, including BMS, mechanical, HVAC, pneumatics, fire suppression, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and conduct first-line repairs of specialized F1 equipment, including Gearbox and Clutch Dyno, Rolling Road, Autoclaves, CNC machines, lathes, and routers.
- Respond quickly to maintenance emergencies, ensuring minimal downtime for high-performance operations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and equipment inventories, ensuring compliance with Formula 1 industry standards.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced environment, working alongside internal teams to implement permanent corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to ensure the reliability and safety of all systems.
- Manage and monitor spare parts inventories, TPM and PPM systems, and work within service budgets.
- Provide cover on a day shift basis with occasional support during race weekends as required.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with experience in maintaining high-performance motorsport equipment.
- Strong analytical skills and a highly organized approach to maintenance planning and execution.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and apply this knowledge in real-time problem-solving scenarios.
- Proven track record of working in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments, such as motorsport or manufacturing.
- Exceptional communication and team collaboration skills.
- Flexibility to work independently or as part of a high-functioning team, with a proactive and professional attitude.
