Culinary Specialist
Oversee all food service operations and procurement of consumables, including cleaning and hygiene products.About The Organization:

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare meals according to the approved menu. Ensure meals adhere to ASARS National Policy on Nutrition, Food and Fluid Management, CDHB Healthy Eating Policy, and Heart Foundation Guidelines. Address any nutritional, allergy, and medical dietary requirements as directed by healthcare professionals. Manage the ordering of kitchen, bathroom, and cleaning supplies for the facility. Maintain kitchen cleanliness in accordance with audit and Food Safety Plan standards. Keep records that demonstrate compliance with BSI audit standards. Ensure food service meets the standards set by the Ministry of Primary Industries Safe Food Plan.Ideal Candidate Profile:
Embody the values and mission of The Salvation Army. Demonstrate a commitment to working from a bicultural perspective, with an understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi. Capable of working independently while being part of a team. Proficient in computer use. Highly organized and self-motivated. Possess the ability to engage with individuals with sensitivity, care, and patience, while maintaining tact, discretion, and an understanding of confidentiality and boundaries.What We Offer:

The starting salary for this role ranges from $64,254.53 to $65,698.46.
The hourly rate for this position is between $30.89 and $31.58.
