Salary: £11.44 per hour, with enhanced rates on weekends
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring all food is handled safely and hygienically.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dining areas, and other designated spaces.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are used and stored correctly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for students and staff.
- Work collaboratively with the catering and cleaning team to meet daily objectives.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Previous experience in catering, cleaning, or a similar role is preferred.
- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is essential.
