Overview:
Are you an experienced Safety and Compliance Manager with a background in Construction seeking a specialized and technically engaging position within a reputable multi-million-pound organization? This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects while enjoying the autonomy to shape your responsibilities.
About the Company:
This well-established construction firm has been delivering building and refurbishment contracting services for over two decades, primarily within the Commercial sector. They have consistently expanded their operations while cultivating a loyal client base and are now looking to enhance their friendly team to support ongoing growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
This dynamic role will involve working independently as you conduct site visits across various regions to perform health and safety inspections, audits, accident investigations, and risk assessments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting site visits to execute health and safety audits and inspections
- Reviewing and updating existing risk assessment protocols
- Monitoring and maintaining training records in accordance with industry standards
- Collaborating with contract managers, site teams, and senior leadership
- Balancing office and site-based work across multiple regions
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience as a Safety and Compliance Manager or in a similar role
- A background in Construction
- Relevant qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH
- Willingness to travel regularly for site visits
