Compliance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to lead our Compliance team and support the UK in meeting our obligations with regards to Compliance Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing effective Quality Management and Food Safety Systems to drive the company, customer, and third-party compliance and continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Provide governance and lead proactive continuous improvement of quality systems, food safety, food defence, and relevant QS/FS training programmes to meet customer and third-party audit standards.
- Implement Quality and Food Safety policies set by business and customers at the sites and provide support for the development and continuous improvement of these policies.
- Manage complaints, including technical support for investigation and implementation of corrective actions, maintenance of customer and corporate portals, and publication of monthly KPIs and trend data.
- Manage quality and food safety training programmes for the site, ensuring operational staff receive adequate training and achieve minimum agreed understanding.
- Provide QS/FS governance and support to enhance food safety and quality culture at the site.
- Deputise for the Technical Manager during absence or holidays, including leading incident/Crisis management if required.
- Experience in Food Safety/Quality Systems Management or Auditing.
- Leading and managing Food Safety and Quality System programmes in compliance with food industry standards and customer/third-party audit requirements.
- Solid experience working within the Food industry at management level.
- Good training skills.
