Job Title: Health and Safety Compliance Lead

Job Summary:

Sustainable Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Compliance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety programs specific to MEP activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health and safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor health and safety performance, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective measures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Provide safety training and implement safety programs, including new employee orientations and regular toolbox talks.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate safety into all phases of project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices, particularly in MEP environments.
  • IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualification (proof of certification required).
  • Experience in a similar health and safety role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
