Join GE Aviation's Global Customer Support team as an Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity Applications Engineering Lead Expert. This role is a key part of our team, responsible for delivering top-notch OT cybersecurity solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide Level 3 technical support on assigned OT cybersecurity platforms, covering post-sales and some aspects of pre-sales technical support.
- Product Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in both partner and GE Vernova OT cybersecurity products and solutions, and design and tune OT cybersecurity products and solutions for complex schemes.
- Documentation and Training: Develop Application Notes, articles, and configuration notes to drive product sales and facilitate Grid Automation project delivery, and provide product/applications training on new products and product evolutions.
- Customer Engagement: Resolve customer complaints on OT cybersecurity products and solutions, and prepare necessary customer communication such as 8D and engineering reports.
- Site Visits and Travel: Conduct site visits for gathering evidence for analysis, troubleshooting, or customer meetings as needed, and travel up to 25% of the time.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership for OT cybersecurity, and work with Product Line and Product Security Lead teams on application and implementation of new/evolving standards and technologies in the product roadmap.
- Cybersecurity Background: Hold a cybersecurity-related degree, and have in-depth understanding of OT cybersecurity applications and relevant standards in the grid automation domain.
- Experience: Possess extensive experience with OT cybersecurity solutions, and extensive and demonstrated years of experience in OT cybersecurity in the energy sector.
- Language Skills: Be fluent in English, and an additional language will be a plus.
- Project Management: Demonstrate ability to work in several projects simultaneously.
