Job Title: Lead Cyber Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cyber Engineer to join our team at GE Aviation. As a Lead Cyber Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure networks and communication architectures for our HVDC Control System.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the design of secure networks and communication architectures for the HVDC Control System
* Act as the point of contact for all matters related to cybersecurity and networking in a project environment
* Support Tendering teams during the bidding process for any cybersecurity and networking related requirements from various customers
* Ensure the Secure Deployment Guides for the HVDC Control System and 3rd party system interfaces are adhered to
* Ensure the Security Assurance Plans are followed by all relevant project stakeholders during the complete project duration

Requirements:

* Degree in Electronics / Electrical engineering or related field
* A demonstrated background in Networking & Cybersecurity fields
* Knowledge of industrial communication networks such as IEC61850 and Ethernet based protocols
* Knowledge of communication networks Security / Hardening and Cybersecurity best practices
* Experience relevant to electrical power systems and Substation automation engineering
* Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
* Established project management skills
