We are currently seeking applications for the role of Field Support Specialist to join our dynamic team, dedicated to enhancing the SuperValu, Centra, and MACE brands throughout Musgrave Northern Ireland.

Reporting to the Food to Go Specialist, this role involves providing field-based support to our retail partners, focusing on the enhancement of their Food to Go offerings across the SuperValu, MACE, and Centra networks. This operational position emphasizes training and support in this critical area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ongoing evaluations of sales potential within Food to Go departments across existing SuperValu, Centra, and MACE locations.
  • Provide training and support to current retailers within SuperValu, Centra, and MACE stores, specifically in areas such as Instore Bakery, Food to Go, and Moo'd.
  • Assist retail partners in executing Food to Go initiatives aimed at boosting sales and profitability.
  • Oversee in-store standards related to Food to Go categories and, when necessary, develop improvement plans in collaboration with the broader sales team.
  • Analyze and address performance issues in under-performing stores and identify necessary training requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in a retail or food service environment, including responsibility for maintaining store standards and driving sales growth.
  • Proven experience in training others.
  • Current knowledge of key trends within the Food to Go sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and relationship management skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Adaptable and flexible approach.
  • Valid full driving license.
  • Basic Food Hygiene certification.
  • Understanding and application of HACCP principles.
  • Familiarity with current allergen legislation and requirements.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an FMCG, Retail, or Foodservice setting.
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene certification.
