Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to manage our opticians practice, ensuring excellent customer service and high levels of sales performance. The successful candidate will have previous experience in managing a team and a strong understanding of the opticians industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of opticians and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high levels of sales performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor and control store stock, ensuring it is displayed effectively and hygienically.
  • Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently, managing cash, credit, and returns.
  • Identify and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that meet their needs and budget.
  • Stay up-to-date with operational standards and training modules to further knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in managing a team in an opticians practice.
  • Strong understanding of the opticians industry and its operations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of organization and time management skills.

We offer a competitive salary between £26,000 to £30,000 DOE, plus a bonus scheme. If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for the opticians industry, we would love to hear from you.
