About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Health Consultant to lead our Pregnancy and Newborn Screening programme. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight to ensure the successful delivery of this critical programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on public health matters related to pregnancy and newborn screening
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies to improve population health and reduce health inequalities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective programme delivery and outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of policies and guidelines related to public health and pregnancy screening
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC
  • Experience in public health medicine and leadership
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
