Job Title: Fostering Social Worker

We are seeking an experienced Fostering Social Worker to join our close-knit team in Berkshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting children and young people in foster care, working closely with foster carers, and contributing to the development of our comprehensive training program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting children and young people in foster care, including assessing their needs and developing individual plans.
  • Working closely with foster carers to provide guidance, support, and training to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Contributing to the development and delivery of our comprehensive training program, which includes training and assessing new and substitute foster carers.
  • Supporting the recruitment and assessment of foster carers and special guardian applicants, ensuring that they meet the necessary standards and requirements.

Requirements:
  • Social Work qualification and full registration to SWE.
  • Experience in fostering social work, including assessing children's needs and developing individual plans.
