Business Development Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Analyst to join our team at Stantec UK. As a key member of our Digital Solutions team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and shaping our ability to provide elite business analysis services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a subject matter expert on business analysis and business process re-engineering for Stantec clients across the UK and Ireland.
- Lead the development of business process re-engineering services and be the focal point for this area, both internally and externally.
- Provide leadership to the Water sector digital community of practice and ensure our colleagues are provided with an environment to excel, innovate, and develop with Stantec.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze the structure of a business, how it uses technology, and what its goals are.
- Analyze information needs and elicit functional requirements, delivering any necessary artefacts, including functional specification documents, user stories, and interface designs.
- Identify productivity issues within a business, including through the use of data modeling techniques.
- Facilitate direct dialogue between the customer community and technical resources where appropriate or required.
- Persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of digital technology or strategies.
- Evaluate, test, and recommend new opportunities for enhancing our digital solutions.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Experience in the Water, Energy, or Transport sectors with technology/digital industry exposure.
- Demonstrated experience of working with diverse teams and delivering outcomes to clients and customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to manage and prioritize your own workload, providing regular status updates as required.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
