Job Title: Class 1 Driver

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team in Ellesmere Port for a multi-drop position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Plan and optimize delivery routes to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and provide updates on delivery progress.
  • Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license.
  • Previous experience as a Class 1 Driver, preferably in a multi-drop role.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection.
  • Understanding of local traffic laws.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Physical fitness for lifting heavy items.

Compensation: £15.89 for up to 10 hours, £17.72 after 10 hours.
