Job Description

Job Title: Class 1 Driver

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Warrington

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team at People Solutions. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trunking to well-known retail distributors
  • No loading or unloading required
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
  • Have a minimum of two years' experience driving Class 1 vehicles
  • No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes
  • Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
  • Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
  • Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
  • Effective communication skills
