Position Overview
NELFT is seeking three highly driven and qualified nurses who are interested in pursuing the Community Nursing Specialist Practitioner qualification (DNSPQ). Successful candidates will receive a fixed-term contract to engage in a full-time, one-year course in collaboration with Anglia Ruskin University.
Main Responsibilities
The role of Specialist Community Practitioner Sponsorship Student is a developmental opportunity aimed at enhancing existing knowledge, skills, and competencies. This position will lead to an academic qualification and a recognized credential with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Working with NELFT
We place great importance on ensuring that new employees are welcomed and integrated into our Trust. All new hires will participate in a comprehensive induction program lasting up to two weeks, which includes mandatory training, systems training, and equipment allocation. New starters will also have the chance to meet with senior management and attend various engagement sessions focused on health, wellbeing, and essential processes.
Probationary Period
This position is subject to a probationary period, with internal applicants exempt unless they are currently undergoing a probationary review.

Key Qualifications
Applicants must be registered on part 1 of the NMC register and typically possess at least one year of relevant post-qualification experience. For those applying to the BSc degree pathway, a minimum of 120 credits at level 5 is required, equivalent to a diploma in nursing. Applicants for the Post Graduate Diploma must hold a relevant honors degree with a classification of 2:1 or higher.
