Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual dedicated to empowering students in enhancing their university journey.

Role Responsibilities:
In collaboration with Bristol University, Bristol SU operates a comprehensive academic representation framework comprising over 800 student representatives.

You will play a crucial role in facilitating the academic representation system, working closely with student representatives to understand the challenges they face and ensuring they have the necessary support and resources.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting student-led initiatives addressing educational matters impacting undergraduate, postgraduate taught, and postgraduate research students.
  • Documenting and promoting the achievements of the academic representation system to the broader student community, keeping them informed about our efforts to advocate for their academic interests.

Position Details:
Title: Academic Representation Coordinator
Hours: 21 hours per week, flexible schedule
Salary: £26,754 to £34,368 (pro-rata).

The initial salary for this position is £26,754 FTE, with potential annual progression within the salary band in accordance with our pay and reward policy.

Contract Type: Permanent

  • Experience in supporting, motivating, and empowering student representatives or volunteers.

  • Excellent communication skills, fostering collaboration and building robust relationships.
