Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual dedicated to enhancing the university experience for students through effective academic representation.
About the Role:
In collaboration with Bristol University, the Bristol Student Union manages a comprehensive academic representation framework involving over 800 student representatives.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in the administration of the academic representation framework.
- Collaborate closely with student representatives to identify and address their concerns, ensuring they receive the necessary support and resources.
- Promote and document the impact of the academic representation framework to the broader student community, keeping them informed about our initiatives to advocate for their academic interests.
Key Duties:
- Support student-led initiatives on educational matters affecting undergraduate, postgraduate taught, and postgraduate research students.
- Maintain effective communication with student representatives and provide guidance as needed.
What We Offer:
- A flexible working schedule of 21 hours per week.
- A competitive salary range of £26,754 to £34,368 (pro-rata), with opportunities for annual progression within the pay band.
- A permanent contract with comprehensive benefits, including enhanced parental leave, a robust pension scheme, and a minimum of 40 days of holiday.
