Exciting Opportunity for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
Shire Healthcare is currently seeking a compassionate Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join a reputable cancer care charity in the North West region. This role involves working with adults dealing with psychological issues related to general health conditions, particularly those affected by cancer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Facilitate support groups, workshops, and courses to promote mental well-being
- Contribute to the development of the psychosocial support program, ensuring a high standard of care
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time with potential for part-time
Salary Range: £51,000 - £61,200 per year
Requirements:
- Candidates must be HCPC registered as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with experience in general health conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
