About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse or RNLD to join our team at Jubilee Mews. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our service users, working in a specialist rehabilitation and recovery unit in Gosforth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support to service users, working in collaboration with the wider multidisciplinary team to complete assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care and support.
  • Liaise with other professionals to ensure seamless care and support for service users.
  • Work in a least restrictive way, promoting independence and autonomy for service users.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that service users' needs are met.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and supportive environment, adhering to CQC standards and regulations.

About You

We are looking for an individual who possesses the following qualities and experience:

  • NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse or RNLD with a valid Pin.
  • Experience of working with people who have complex mental health problems and who can present with behaviours that challenge.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with service users, families, and other professionals.
  • A genuine desire to care for this client group, with a person-centred approach to work.
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns, including weekends and nights, and to work at either service based on service needs.
